The Tibetan lounge at the Farm Liotard provides seating for more than twenty guests around a colorful table of food. Comfortably installed on old chairs, the place is decorated with carpets, tablecloths, candlesticks, Limoges, silverware, dishes and bottles.
breakfast
Served on the terrace if the weather permits, otherwise in the new building of the Farm. Includes coffee and tea from Yunnan, bread accompanied by butter, jam, egg dishes, muesli, milk and yogurt, fruit basket and orange juice.
picnic
Mixed salads, charcuteries, Tibetan bread, fruits, cakes, tea or coffee.
tea-time
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
aperitif
Whiskey, pastis, gin, martini, vodka, rhum… Shangri-la beer, soft drinks accompanied by toast and local specialties.
diner
A menu composed of three dishes cooked with care by our chef. Candlelit meal served in Limoges dinnerware, silverware, along with beautiful bottles of french red wine and local with the Cuvée Liotard.

One night or two nights
Day 1 : Live the Liotard Farm
At 2 p.m., departure by car to reach the Ringha valley, where a 3-hour walk between the hills, rivers, forests and villages surrounding the valley will begin. Discovery of local architecture, agricultural life and Tibetan traditions. The walking route includes a beautiful Tibetan Buddhist temple, very important in the area. Late afternoon we will arrive at the Farm Liotard in the valley of Ringha, altitude 3,350 m.
You will then meet the rest of the team and have some snacks while we tour the camp. Visit the Farm Liotard and games for children. An aperitif will be served before sunset and later a dinner in the dining room. You will spend the rest of the evening around a campfire under the stars. Overnight in your rooms.
Day 2 : The ascension
After breakfast on the way for a long day walk (around 5 h) between the hills, rivers, forests and villages surrounding the Ringha valley. Climb to a small pass at 3,700 m above sea level before enjoying a picnic on a beautiful mountain pasture at 3,600 m. Return to the farm at the end of the afternoon, afternoon snack, aperitif before sunset. Dinner at the local Tibetan family. Overnight in your rooms.
Day 3 : Shangri-la
After breakfast return by car to Shangri-La to either your hotel or the airport.
