A EVENT DAY for up to one hundred guests in the Ringha Valley where the Farm Liotard is located. In the morning, it is an exceptional and real discovery of Shangri-la and its old town, a lunch at the Flying Tigers Café followed by a crossing of the Ringha valley on horseback to relive the mythical universe of the Tea Road . Visit the Ringha temple and at the end of the afternoon arrival at the Farm where a welcome tea time is served around the camp. Introduction and lecture by Constantin de Slizewicz on the theme of explorers of the last century and the myth of Shangri-la, followed by an aperitif with local charcuterie, dinner presented on a long table in the large Tibetan lounge then vigil around the fire with Tibetan singers and dancers. Possibility to spend the night in tents.

Arrival in Shangri-La
10:30 am : Meeting with the guests in the old town, visit of the old town accompanied by Constantin and William.
12 h : Lunch at the Flying Tigers Café, restaurant opened by Guillaume and Constantin. Menu established in advance.
1:30 p.m.: Departure for Ringha Valley by car.
The discovery of the Ringha valley
2:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Start of the Tea Road horseback ride. The ride will pass by a beautiful Tibetan Buddhist temple, very important in the region. The Ringha temple was founded during the Ming Dynasty as a place of worship for the Kagyupa (white bonnet) sect of Tibetan Buddhism, but was later converted to Gelugpa (yellow bonnet). This happened when Emperor Qing Kangxi founded Songzanlin Monastery, and Ringha became a branch of the much larger monastery. Two nearby springs are sacred and their waters are said to have magical powers.
4:30 – 6:00 pm: Arrival at Liotard Farm where a welcome afternoon-tea is served around the camp while Constantin lecture on the theme of the quest for Shangri-la.
Tibetan evening and night
6:30 pm – 8 pm : Aperitif in the new lounge of the Farm Liotard with local cold cuts and small canapés.
8:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Dinner in the large Tibetan lounge with long tables. Carefully decorated, elegant table, European cuisine with local products and French wine.
22 h-23 h : Campfire is on, with the presence of Tibetan musicians and dancers from the Ringha valley.
23 h : Night in the tents and breakfast the next morning.
